AMAZING restaurant, my partner and I wholeheartedly enjoyed our meal at Mozambik. Our server was really attentive and friendly to our requests. The portions were huge and the price was very reasonable. The seafood platter we got was so good, everything was so flavourful. The coconut rice really fits the Asian palette, I was so happy, it’s like I was back home.

I had a truly wonderful experience at Mozambique Restaurant at the Waterfront, and I felt it was worth sharing. We went during the afternoon, and the place was not too packed, which made it even more enjoyable and relaxed. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and perfect for a peaceful meal. From the moment we interacted with the staff, the service was excellent. The lady who helped us was polite, professional, and very attentive. She even followed up with us later to confirm our delivery, which really showed how much she cares about her work and about the customers. That kind of service is rare and deeply appreciated. The meal itself was absolutely amazing. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. You could truly taste the quality and care that goes into their dishes. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food, and we left feeling satisfied and happy. Overall, this was a very positive experience from start to finish. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Big thank you to the Mozambique Restaurant team at the Waterfront. I will definitely be coming back and recommending it to others.
Impressive dinner at Mozambik V&A Waterfront. We weren't expecting much given the very touristy location but were pleasantly surprised. Our server, Bongs was friendly and fast. We ordered shaken margaritas (R60) which were very strong!! We ordered one veg curry with rice (R119) and one fresh catch for two (R355). Service was pretty quick given how packed the place was even just after 6pm. The curry was creamy and delicious and was served with coconut rice. The seafood platter was amazing. Very generous portions. The two epically bearded floor managers have great energy and ensure a smooth flow of customers and quick turnover in such a busy location. It is very noisy in here with all the people and with the drinks blender working overtime at the bar. Honestly the same meal at a comparable restaurant and location in Sydney would have been 3 times the price.
Absolutely loved my experience at Mozambik! The fillet steak and chicken were to die for! Perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The garlic snails were amazing and easily one of the highlights of the meal. On top of the incredible food, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommended!
Will gladly return. Manager Derek, along with Ryan organised a beautiful placed table with stunning views of the mountain and harbour. Blessing, our waitron was great, made my wife's birthday extra special. Can definitely recommend the Seafood platter for two along with chicken wings, plain and spicy. You guys rock. Thank you
I had such a great experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. My server, Lily, was incredibly helpful — she took the time to walk me through the menu, made thoughtful recommendations, and really knew what she was talking about. Thanks to her suggestions, i tried a few dishes i might have overlooked, and they were fantastic. Lily also kept checking on me throughout the meal to make sure everything was perfect, which I really appreciated — it showed she genuinely cared about the experience. On top of that, the manager, Derrick, came by to check on my table and was just as friendly and attentive. It’s rare to see such genuine hospitality these days, and it really stood out. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service made it all even better. I’ll definitely be coming back — and asking for Lily again!

We came for my friend’s birthday. We were welcomed by this nice guy Mangaliso the service was excellent, he gave us the best first time at Mozambik. Keep it up Mozambik for the good work
